Guided Bend Test

Directional bending test is a test that checks the quality of UXVI in its various forms in terms of strength, durability and flexibility, as well as detecting the lack of penetration and integrity of the welded joint. It must be changed whenever the thickness of the test sample changes. In the absence of the necessary equipment to perform the directed bending test, the test can be applied using the manual bending equipment or by using a heavy hammer, after fixing the sample with the vise. It should be noted that in the directed bending test the sample is bent at an angle of 180°, while in Manual bending equipment and using the hammer the bending angle is only 90°.
